About DIN 2014 Font Family
Paratype presents DIN 2014—a contemporary interpretation of the famous DIN typeface.
DIN 2014 main characteristics:
• 3 widths: Relular, Narrow, Condensed
• 24 styles in total
• 630+ glyphs in every style
• 14 OpenType features, including Stylistic Alternates
• Extended Latin and Cirillic support
The typeface includes 24 styles: 6 upright and 6 normal-width italics, as well as 6 Narrow and 6 Condensed styles. Regular style better suits for long texts, while Light and Bold variations work well in large sizes.
The typeface was designed by Vasily Biryukov and released by Paratype in 2015. The set of Condensed styles was added by Alexander Lubovenko and Isabella Chaeva in 2022.
The functionality of the DIN 2014 typeface is not limited to this family. We have also prepared a version with rounded corners called DIN 2014 Rounded, and an industrial version with cutouts called DIN 2014 Stencil.
