About the family

Doesburg is a font inspired by an example of the De Stijl Creative Group’s logotype in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. It is an edgy, modular typeface, which is well suited for use in magazine headlines, for extreme sports, in film posters, book jackets, for event graphics and as a headline typeface on websites. The design adheres to the original creative principles of the Neo-Plasticist De Stijl Group and is named after Theo Van Doesburg, one of the founding members of De Stijl.

About Rocket 88 Foundry

Rocket 88 Foundry has evolved from a graphic design consultancy, established in July 2006. In the beginning, font design and production was just one aspect of Rocket 88's creative output, but by 2020, font design and production became the sole focus of the business. As designers with 35 years' experience in visual communication, design for print, branding, advertising, environmental and screen based media, we understand the many needs and requirements of fonts and font families. We are passionate about design in all its forms. Function is as important as form and we build our fonts accordingly.
