Egg Fonts

Egg Fonts is the Istanbul based type foundry of Burçin Canbay.We design unique typefaces by making experimentation legible and creating an expressive visual form of language.Designing a typeface is akin to the egg incubation period. During incubation, an egg needs care to grow and develop. Similarly, as designers refine their typeface, attention to detail. This involves adjusting curves, refining spacing, and enhancing the overall harmony of the characters. Both processes involve patience, creativity, and the transformation of raw potential into something remarkable.Our motivation is to give emotion to the reading experience by designing aesthetic, functional, and characteristic fonts.
