About the family

Guidon is a warm, unicase typeface built from soft, rounded forms that feel both familiar and pleasantly unexpected. Its gently retro silhouette brings an easy charm to headlines and branding, while carefully crafted OpenType features invite play and making it simple to build expressive banners, wordmarks, and editorial moments with a distinctive rhythm. Available in a single weight, Guidon is intentionally focused: a characterful display face that shines in identity work, packaging, and tactile products where personality and approachability matter.

About Le Bailly Fonts

Le Bailly Fonts is a type foundry built around the work of Jacques Le Bailly, better known as Baron von Fonthausen, in partnership with Ligado Studio, managed by Joana Correia and Paley Dreier. If you’ve spent any time reading on a screen, you’ve almost certainly seen letterforms Jacques has drawn, as he had a hand in designing some of the world’s most ubiquitous fonts, including Montserrat and Nunito Sans. Jacques studied type design at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) and has been drawing type for over two decades, including with prestigious foundries like Lineto, House Industries, Bold Monday, and The Enschedé Font Foundry. Le Bailly Fonts’ new, original typefaces exude humor and playfulness without sacrificing practicality and usefulness.
