About the family

Mezzo Font is a hand-drawn display typeface built from simple geometric blocks and playful medieval-inspired shapes. Created with an intentionally imperfect and handcrafted approach, it captures the spirit of doodled signs, fantasy maps, children's storybooks, comic lettering, and humorous role-playing games.

Every character has been carefully drawn to maintain a strong visual personality while remaining clear and readable. The block-based construction gives the font a sturdy, almost carved appearance, as if the letters had been assembled from wooden pieces, stone blocks, or the signs hanging outside a bustling fantasy tavern.

Designed to balance charm and usability, Mezzo Font works particularly well for titles, logos, packaging, game manuals, comics, board games, children's books, fantasy projects, and playful branding. Its organic irregularities bring warmth and character that digital-perfect typefaces often lack.

Available in Regular and Bold, Mezzo Font allows designers to create clear typographic hierarchies while preserving its distinctive handcrafted style.

Until I had to solve a problem that led me to create my first full font with many glyphs, letters and signs. And now here I am.
