Tkachenko Design, founded by Valentyn Tkachenko, is an independent type design studio based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The studio specializes in Cyrillic letterforms and experimental approaches to typeface design, while maintaining a broad and versatile creative scope. Each project is driven by a passion for exploring new visual languages and pushing the boundaries of conventional letterforms.Within every typeface, I strive to uncover fresh shapes for familiar letters, paying particular attention to the unique structure and rhythm of the Cyrillic script. This approach allows me to reimagine traditional forms while preserving their readability and cultural essence.
