Silas Dilworth

Silas Dilworth focused his typographic vision as font technician and resident type designer at [T-26] from 2001 through 2004, producing various custom typefaces and overseeing the production of hundreds of new font releases. In 2005, he co-founded TypeTrust LLC as a font distribution partnership with fellow type designer and lettering artist Neil Summerour. After eight years of steady growth, TypeTrust was restructured in 2013 as Silas’s personal brand under his company, Type Affiliates LLC, based in Pasadena, California.

Through TypeTrust and partnering agencies, Silas has produced custom type designs and typographic solutions for renown brands such as Dewar’s Scotch Whiskey, Osh Kosh B'gosh, The Food Network, Converse, Cartoon Network, IBM, First Data, Universal Channel, Kingston Technologies, Caterpillar, Aon Corporation, Prometric, Virgin Media, Saatchi LA, and Benelux-based Telenet and PRIME Networks. His typefaces have been used in the pages of The Hollywood Reporter, Esquire, Popular Mechanics, and Martha Stewart Living.
