About the family
Bebas Neue finally has lowercase letters!
Originally released in 2010, Bebas Neue quickly became one of the most widely used all-caps font families in the world.
From global brands to independent designers, it’s been used in countless projects for over a decade.
Despite being an all-uppercase family, its clean and bold aesthetic made it a go-to choice for headlines, logos, and beyond. Over the years, we received many requests for lowercase support—and now, we’re proud to introduce Bebas Neue Pro.
This new version was secretly in development for years, and now it’s here—with exciting updates:
- New lowercase letters, meticulously designed to match the original uppercase style.
- Refined uppercase characters from Thin to Regular weights, reworked for improved balance.
- Proper Italics for every weight—not just slanted versions, but fully redrawn, expressive italics.
- Tabular figures accessible via the OpenType tnum feature for numeric alignment.
- Support for almost all European languages and selected Cyrillic characters.
- Three widths—Normal, SemiExpanded, and Expanded—for increased versatility.
Bebas Neue Pro is a premium, professional upgrade that retains the iconic style of the original while vastly expanding its capabilities.
